MORABEC ALLWORMING HORSE PASTE

For the treatment and control of tapeworms (A. Perfoliata), roundworms (including arterial larval stages of Strongylus vulgaris and benzimidazole resistant small strongyles), bots and lesions caused by Habronema SPP. in horses.
Morabec was developed by Riverside Veterinary in New South Wales Australia, in the interests of Equine Health.
INDICATIONS: At the dosage rate of 5.4 g per 100kg bodyweight, MORABEC ALLWORMING HORSE PASTE is indicated for the treatment and control of the following parasites in horses:
Ascarids: Parascaris equorum (adult and immature)
Bots: Gasterophilus spp. (oral and gastric stages)
Hairworms: Trichostrongylus axei (adult)
Intestinal Threadworms: Strongylus westeri (adult)
Large Mouth Stomach Worms: Habronema muscae (adult) Large Strongyles and Small Strongyles Strongyloides vulgaris (adults and arterial larval stages), Strongylus edentatus (adult and tissue stages), Strongylus equinus (adults) and Triodontophorus spp. (adults). Cyathostomum spp., Cyliocyclus spp., Cylicostephanus spp., Cylicodontophorus spp., Gyalocephalus spp.
Lungworms: Dictyocaulus arnfieldi (adult and immature)
Pinworms: Oxyuris equi (adult and immature)
Tapeworms: Anoplocephala perfoliata.

Disposal: Dispose of empty container and syringe by wrapping Abamectin is extremely toxic to aquatic species. Do not contaminate dams, rivers, streams, or other waterways with the chemical or used container.
We are so pleased with the results of drenching our horses with Morabec. We had a high count for Strongyles on our FEC tests. Fourteen days after drenching the horses with Morabec, our FECRT (Faecal Egg Count Reduction Test) was Zero. Morabec was very effective.
